You won't have to download the game again, simply the DLC volition demand to exist. You will be "transferring" the license for the game from the disc to digital version.
All in game process is saved to your account on the cloud. You will merely need to sync to the cloud to take the saved data downloaded to enjoy where yous left the last fourth dimension you played.

Hello Shadowcat20, information technology turns out you lot don't have to delete Ruddy Dead Redemption 2, the deejay version, because when you purchase the Ultimate version of the game; volition automatically download the add-ons nowadays in the version.
And on its progress, it will remain intact, save in the game publisher's cloud.

As already mentioned by the others you don´t have to redownload the whole game. Just make the purchase of the digital Version and it will practise the balance automaticly. Mayhap you have to start the download of some dlc manually. To cheque that just go to my games and apps and select manage game. If some DLC shows up in the fix to install section just trigger the download.

You lot exercise not need to delete the disk version at all. Once you buy the digital version of the game you no longer need to insert the deejay. I accept done this with several EA access games in the past or with some games with gold.

I believe that it volition just upgrade your current version of the game.
If you practise take to re-install. Then your progress should be saved and merged into the new version of the game.

in teoria non devi disinstallare nulla e ti spiego il perché. Tu ora utilizzi il CD perché all'interno di esso risiedono le licenze di avvio, se prenderai la ultimate edition in pratica eliminerei la necessità di utilizzare il disco perché le licenze diverranno digitali e di conseguenza not dovrai più usarlo.

Hello,
When you all ready own the game and have everything upwards to date similar updates and stuff. You dont need to reinstall the game for a digital version. The disc and digital is the same game and same style it works and then theres no reason to uninstall and reinstall.
